LJKC KIDS Newsletter
Dear Parents of LJKC Elementary Ministry,
We greet you in the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we move into the second week of June, we continue to explore what it means to Live It Out—living and loving like Jesus in our daily lives. We pray that your family is experiencing God’s Spirit at work, gently transforming each heart to reflect more of Christ’s character.
Theme of the Month | “Live It Out – Keep Hope Alive”
With Jesus, we can help change the world.
Living out our faith is more than a nice idea—it’s a daily calling. Through the power of God’s Spirit, we are being transformed to live like Jesus, love like Jesus, and see others through His eyes. As we walk with Jesus, we are not only changed ourselves but become agents of transformation in the world around us.
Bible Memory Verse | Philippians 2:5 (NiV)
"In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus."
GOD VIEW
Jesus is our greatest example of how to live in love, humility, and service. Through His Spirit, God helps us become more like Him every day. Live It Out isn’t just a series—it’s a lifestyle. As children learn to love others and put their faith into action, they reflect God’s heart to the world.
CORE INSIGHT: The Spirit of God transforms our imperfect lives into the character of Jesus, helping us live out our faith in real, visible ways.
Sunday School Monthly Plan | June
Week 1: Live like Jesus | Philippians 2:5
✨ Week 2: Live in Peace with One Another (Saul and Barnabas) | Romans 12:18
Week 3: Look Out for One Another | Philippians 2:4
Week 4: Encourage One Another | Hebrews 10:24-25
Week 5: Accept One Another | Romans 15:7 (Acts 10)
✨ This Week’s Focus | Live in Peace with One Another(Romans 12:18)
This week, we explore the story of Saul and Barnabas—a powerful example of forgiveness, encouragement, and teamwork. Although others were hesitant to accept Saul because of his past, Barnabas chose to believe in God’s work in him. Their friendship teaches us the value of living in peace and choosing to see others through God’s eyes.
Children will be reminded that peace isn’t always easy, but with God’s help, they can take initiative to make peace with friends, family, and even those who are different from them.
At-Home Connection
To help your family dive deeper into this week’s message, we’ve attached a learning sheet to guide reflection, conversation, and prayer. May it be a moment of grace as you grow together in faith.
