Dear Parents of LJKC Elementary Ministry,
 

We pray that the love and grace of our Lord fill each family in the LJKC. Starting this month, we will be sending out the LJKC Kids Newsletter every Friday. This newsletter is designed to communicate with you about your child’s faith education and to extend the blessings of God’s Word into your home, just as your children experience it at church. We are sending home learning sheets that match what your child is learning in Sunday School so you can join in with joy and help reinforce the lessons at home.

 

Theme of the Month | "Initiative"

Because we are created in the image of God, we have the ability to take action and be responsible. This month, we are learning how to take initiative and use the opportunities God gives us wisely.

This week, we are learning about the Parable of the Talents as told by Jesus. God has entrusted each of us with valuable gifts, and when we use them wisely and take action, we can share in our Master’s joy.

Through this parable, children will learn how to use their talents, time, and hearts for the Kingdom of God.
