Part-Time Youth Pastor (Grades 6–12)

We (Lord Jesus Korean Church) are a Korean-American church located in Richmond, Virginia, seeking a part-time Youth Pastor who has a heart for the next generation and a passion to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to raise a missional generation—students who love God, are rooted in His Word and prayer, and are sent out to live as faithful witnesses of Christ in their everyday lives.

 

1. Responsibilities

 

1) Preach the Gospel and teach Scripture to middle and high school students

   on Sundays

2) Lead and equip students and teachers through Bible study and discipleship

3) Shepherd and build relationships with youth and their families

4) Plan and coordinate major ministry events (e.g., retreats, youth gatherings)

 

2. Qualifications

 

1) A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a deep love for the Word and prayer

2) Gospel-centered and grounded in biblical theology

3) Seminary graduate or currently enrolled in seminary

4) Experience in a Korean-American church context preferred

4. Compensation

 

 1) $1,500 per month

 2) Ministry-related expenses, including travel (gas) and activity costs, will be reimbursed
